The History Behind the Brand

1979- The start of the HK story

Harvest King Produce was started in Sudbury, Ontario.

2020-Name change

The organization formerly known as Harvest King Produce was changed to HK Food Service in order to better suit the longer list of products we do offer.

Today- Current operations

The Sudbury Location is now a 10 000+ sq ft warehouse with 4 trucks that are able to service the Northern Ontario market.

1922 -The start of the Quattrocchi Story

Quattrocchi was started in 1922 as a grocery business in Perth, Ontario

1950 -The expansion

The warehouse was built in Smiths Falls in order to take advantage of the two active rail lines

2002 -Fire to the warehouse

The warehouse had seen some fire damages. It was time to rebuild and add on additional spaces in order to service our existing clients within the area.

Today-Current operations

Our Smiths Falls location has over 10 trucks and are able to deliver within the Ottawa Valley area 6 days a week (no Sunday) all coming from our 20 000+ Square feet warehouse.
